Add the cream, icing sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla to a large mixing bowl.
Using a handheld or stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, whip until stiff peaks form (holds its shape and can be scooped up with a spoon or spatula).
Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
