A deliciously creamy and silky-smooth hot chocolate that is made with milk chocolate and white chocolate, and is easily put together in the microwave. Coloured red and topped with whipped cream and sprinkles for a truly indulgent Valentine's Day treat!
Add the milk and cream to a large microwave-safe bowl or jug, and heat in 1 minute intervals until very hot to the touch (but not bubbling). Set aside.
Add the chocolates to a separate microwave-safe bowl and heat in 20 second intervals, stirring after each one, until melted and smooth.
Add the melted chocolate to the hot milk mixture, and whisk until combined. Whisk in the vanilla and enough red food colouring to reach your desired shade.
Pour into mugs or heat-proof glasses, and top with whipped cream and sprinkles. Serve and enjoy!
