Easy Chocolate Truffles
Guys – these are my all-time favourite homemade Easy Chocolate Truffles, and I’m so happy to be sharing the recipe with you today!
These truffles are super easy to throw together, and they are so decadent, you’ll find it hard to stop at just one. 🙂
They’re made up of three types of chocolate. Firstly, we have the soft and creamy milk chocolate centre (SO GOOD!). Secondly, we have the dark chocolate shell, and lastly the white chocolate drizzle on top.
If you love chocolate just as much as I do, these truffles were made for you!

Ingredients you’ll need
Here’s a list of ingredients you’ll need to make these truffles. You can find my recipe card at the bottom of this post for the complete list with their amounts.
- Milk chocolate
- Cream cheese
- Icing/powdered sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Dark chocolate
- White chocolate
How to make Easy Chocolate Truffles
To make these truffles, simply melt the milk chocolate in the microwave. Let it cool slightly.
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add the icing sugar and mix until smooth and combined.
Add the melted chocolate and vanilla, and mix in until fully combined. Cover the mixture and keep in the fridge or freezer for at least 2 – 3 hours until firm.
Once firm enough, roll the mixture into tablespoon-sized (0.7oz) balls, and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment or wax paper. The mixture will be very sticky as you’re rolling, but it’s completely fine.
TIP: You can lightly coat your hands in cocoa powder or icing sugar to make rolling easier.
Freeze the balls for another hour until firm again.
Dip each ball into melted dark chocolate and place back onto the baking tray. Drizzle the truffles with white chocolate, and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
The printable recipe card with the FULL list of ingredients and instructions can be found at the bottom of this post.
NOTE: For best results, I highly recommend using the gram measurements (with a digital scale), rather than the cup measurements.
Cup measurements are simply not accurate enough, and I cannot guarantee the best results if you use them.

Change up these truffles to your liking. Instead of a milk chocolate centre, try a white chocolate centre with a milk chocolate shell. OR a dark chocolate centre with a white chocolate shell! ♥

These are decadent and delicious. I had a bit of trouble with the dipping process - probably need to use a different chocolate that is not as thick as what I used. But they still turned out well and were a big hit at the party.
