How to make 4 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

To make these cookies, grab a large mixing bowl, and mix together the peanut butter, sugar, egg, and vanilla until completely combined, and a big ball of dough is formed.

Using a small cookie scoop (about 1oz per ball), scoop the dough onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Dip a fork in sugar, and lightly flatten each cookie, making a criss-cross pattern.

Bake for 10 – 12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly browned. The cookies will be super soft, but they will firm up as they cool.

Allow to cool for 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

  1. I made these cookies this morning
They came out perfect. Will definitely make them again. Thanks for sharing the recipe.

  2. I’m a big fan of this cookie. Excellent and easy cookie to make when you have that craving for something sweet. Easy to adapt and make it keto just by replacing sugar with substitute. I even used unrefined raw sugar. You can use crunchy PB or smooth, or even another nut butter.

  3. Mine are delicious but falling apart. I did use only 1/2 cup of sugar and only baked for 10 minutes.

  4. These tasted great – just the right amount of sweetness! My only challenge was that the cookies, even after cooling thoroughly, crumbled so easily… one easy bite was enough to make them fall apart very easily! Any idea what I may have done incorrectly in the process?

    1. Hi Beau! I’m sorry, I’m not sure why these cookies would crumble easily, I make them all the time. Make sure to fully combine all ingredients, the mixture can be a bit tough to mix depending on the peanut butter. Also, make sure not to over-bake.

      Sorry I wasn’t much help! Enjoy! 🙂

  5. I just found your blog through FoodYub and I’ve had a look at some of your cookie recipes and now I want to make them all !
This one especially is going on my to try list !
I’ll go have a look at your other recipes now 😉

  6. I just made these and they are delicious! I really didn’t think that they could be that good without flour and they are THAT GOOD! 😉 They were also ridiculously simple to make. Thanks for my new go to peanut butter cookie recipe!

  7. When you say “peanut butter lover,” you’re totally talking to me right?? 😉 You know I love ALL of your PB recipes (just a bit more than your other recipes) bc of my PB LOVE! These cookies could not look more perfect. Also, it’s amazing and wonderful that these beauties are made with just 4 ingredients! Pinned, of course. Hugs!
