Ingredients you’ll need
Here’s a list of ingredients you’ll need to make this mousse. You can find my recipe card at the bottom of this post for the complete list with their amounts.
- Smooth peanut butter
- Cream cheese: Softened to room temperature.
- Icing/powdered sugar
- Heavy whipping cream
How to make 4 Ingredient Peanut Butter Mousse
To make this mousse, simply grab a large mixing bowl and mix together the peanut butter, cream cheese, and icing sugar until completely smooth and combined. Set aside.
In a separate medium mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream to stiff peaks.
In thirds, gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter mixture until smooth and combined.
Transfer the mousse into your desired serving bowls or glasses, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
NOTE: This recipe yields two very large servings (as seen in the photos), or 3 – 4 smaller servings. It is quite a rich dessert, so I do recommend serving to 4.
If desired, top with chopped nuts or chocolate shavings before serving.
The printable recipe card with the FULL list of ingredients and instructions can be found at the bottom of this post.
NOTE: For best results, I highly recommend using the gram measurements (with a digital scale), rather than the cup measurements.
Cup measurements are simply not accurate enough, and I cannot guarantee the best results if you use them.

Would this work as a pie filling? Would it hold up if cut?

Do you could put this in a frosting bag and pipe it into wine glasses? Do you think it would hold it shape?

Have not made this recipe as yet but I need to make a large amount. Can you please give me the amount of ingredients I would need to make at least 24 servings?

For 24 servings, you'll want to multiply the recipe by 6 - http://kinja-labs.com/ingredient-cutter/

Instead of icing or powdered sugar, can I use ground up Equal - I cannot have sugar. I've used Equal for making sugar free whipped cream so I think this would work. And thanks for this - I miss my peanut butter ice cream!
