How to make Blueberry Breakfast Smoothie

Pour the mixture into glasses and serve immediately.
This recipe will make one very large smoothie, or two smaller smoothies.
The printable recipe card with the full list of ingredients, their measurements, and instructions can be found at the bottom of this post.
NOTE: For best results, I highly recommend using the gram measurements (with a digital scale), rather than the cup measurements. Cup measurements are simply not accurate enough, and I cannot guarantee the best results if you use them.

Can I make this smoothie and keep it in the fridge overnight? Fresh is always best, but you can keep this smoothie in the fridge, covered tightly, overnight ready for the next morning. If separation occurs, simply stir and enjoy.
Can I freeze this blueberry smoothie? Yes! Pour the smoothies into freezer-safe mason jars, and keep them in the freezer for up to 3 months. The night before you plan to have a smoothie, place a jar in the fridge to allow to defrost overnight. Smoothies for daaaaays.

I never thought to put orange juice in my smoothies before! Something different to try 🙂 I am usually a milk based smoothie girl, but I am open to change. Blueberries are one of my favorites and they are about to be in season here too.
I love breakfast smoothies, the thicker the better! And blueberries are my favorite and so full of anti-oxidants so this one is definitely on my list of must-makes. Love the little splash of OJ too.
We loved this smoothie for breakfast yesterday. Can’t wait to change up the fruit flavors!
