Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

This Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie is:

  • super quick and easy to make
  • deliciously thick and creamy
  • perfectly filling and healthy
  • a satisfying smoothie to enjoy for breakfast

Why put oats in a smoothie? Oats are a great way to add fibre to smoothies without adding a lot of calories. Plus, they add texture and thickness!

What are the best oats for smoothies? I like to use rolled oats and grind them up slightly so they are not as chunky, but quick oats work well too. Use whichever oats you like, depending on the texture you want to achieve.

How do you make an oatmeal smoothie smoother? If you don’t like the texture the dried oats give the smoothie, you can soak the oats with the milk overnight. This will soften the oats, and make for a smoother smoothie.

Can I keep this smoothie refrigerated overnight? Yes you can! The oats will become more softer than when you prepared it, but the smoothie will be just as delicious.

  1. This sounds amazing but I have a question when making this could you use the frozen strawberries and banana fruit that comes together in one bag and if so how much fruit would I use to make the smoothie? Can’t wait to try it I’m going to make it today if I can figure the measurements out with the bagged frozen fruit.

      1. Hi Sabah! Have you checked your big supermarkets, or possibly Amazon? If you can’t get hold of rolled oats, quick porridge oats will work just fine, too.
