I absolutely love fudge. Especially if it’s chocolate fudge.

Today, I bring you a quick and easy recipe for Chocolate Fudge. This fudge only requires 4 ingredients, and you only need one bowl and a spatula!

How to make Easy Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • chocolate: Use your favourite chocolate! The one you love to eat on its own. That could be milk chocolate, dark, or even semi-sweet. You may even use two types of chocolate.
  • unsalted butter
  • sweetened condensed milk
  • vanilla extract

Place the chocolate and butter into a large microwave-safe bowl, and heat in 30 second intervals, stirring after each one, until melted and smooth.

Stir in the condensed milk and vanilla until combined. The mixture will become very thick at this point.

Spread the mixture into an 8×8-inch square baking pan lined with foil or parchment paper, and smooth out the top. Refrigerate for 2 – 4 hours or overnight until completely set before cutting into pieces.

The printable recipe card with the FULL list of ingredients and instructions can be found at the bottom of this post.

NOTE: For best results, I highly recommend using the gram measurements (with a digital scale), rather than the cup measurements.

Cup measurements are simply not accurate enough, and I cannot guarantee the best results if you use them.

  • perfect for sharing and gift-giving!

How long will this chocolate fudge last? This fudge can be stored, in an airtight container at room temperature for 1 week, or in the fridge for 2 – 3 weeks.

Can I freeze this fudge? Yes. This fudge also freezes well for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before serving.

I did this and the mixture split it seams like it over mixed, I think you should make it clear that you shouldn’t over mix! Very disappointed :(
