Frozen Yogurt Bark
  • Greek-style yogurt: Thick, creamy, and rich in protein, Greek yogurt forms the base of the bark. It gives that perfect frozen texture and a satisfying tangy flavour.
  • Vanilla extract: Adds a touch of warmth and enhances the natural sweetness of the yogurt and fruit.
  • Honey: Naturally sweetens the bark without making it too sugary. You can adjust the amount to taste or swap it for another sweetener.
  • Fresh strawberries: Bright, juicy, and full of flavour, sliced strawberries add bursts of freshness and colour to every bite.
  • Fresh blueberries: Sweet, slightly tart, and loaded with antioxidants, blueberries pair perfectly with the creamy yogurt base.
  • Granola: Brings crunch and texture contrast to the creamy yogurt and soft fruit. Use your favourite store-bought or homemade granola for the perfect finishing touch.

Frozen Yogurt Bark
  • Yogurt: You can use regular yogurt instead of Greek for a lighter texture, or try flavoured varieties like vanilla or strawberry for extra sweetness. Dairy-free yogurts made from coconut or almond milk also work great.
  • Sweetener: Replace honey with maple syrup, agave nectar, or a sugar-free syrup if you prefer. You can also skip it entirely for a more tangy treat.
  • Fruits: Mix and match your favourite fruits—raspberries, mango, kiwi, or banana slices all make delicious additions. Frozen berries can be used too (just thaw and pat dry first).
  • Granola: Use any type you like—nutty, chocolate, or fruit-filled. Crushed nuts, seeds, or even shredded coconut are great alternatives for extra crunch.

Recipe FAQs

Can I use regular yogurt instead of Greek yogurt?

Yes! Regular yogurt will make a slightly softer bark with a lighter texture. If you want it creamier and higher in protein, stick with Greek yogurt.

Do I have to use fresh fruit?

No, frozen fruit works too! Just thaw it first and pat it dry to prevent excess moisture from making the bark icy.

How long does it take to freeze?

Usually about 3 to 4 hours, depending on your freezer. You’ll know it’s ready when it’s firm enough to break into clean pieces.

Can I make this recipe dairy-free?

Absolutely. Just use a dairy-free yogurt, such as coconut, almond, or soy yogurt, and your preferred sweetener.

What can I add for more flavour or texture?

Try a drizzle of melted chocolate or nut butter, a handful of crushed nuts, or a sprinkle of coconut flakes before freezing.
